From a small trading company with six people in 1980, Kibsons has now grown to a company with almost a hundred and fifty employees and a diversified portfolio of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and seafood sourced from all over the world from renowned producers. We have established lasting and rewarding relationships with our suppliers in different countries so that we never have to deny our valuable customers any of our products or services.
Even though we presently have a facility at Al Aweer, the accelerated growth we are experiencing has prompted us to go for a larger and dedicated 80,000 sq ft facility in Ajman. We have also completed HACCP certification (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) for our facilities in Al Aweer as well as in Ajman.
The municipalities of Dubai and other emirates as well as the health authorities, have supported us through these past years with their understanding and co-operation in all our activities. The recently introduced e-government procedures, such as e-Mirsal2, have made dealing with authorities convenient as well as fast. I am sure all the government initiatives to help industry will bear fruit and the import and export procedures and services in the UAE will become exemplary to the world and will continue to bring prosperity to the nation.
